Thank you for having me on your blog! I’m happy to be here today to let your readers know about my newest release, ‘Charmed’, from my series, The Glorious Guild of Lady Windsurfer. I’m sharing a unique look into the story through Charm’s point of view when she’s about to get into a bit of trouble.

Charm knows how to get what she wants, but when faced with opposition, she tends to make bad choices. After a plan to subdue a Rullix goes wrong, Charm forces her way into two Auraths’ lives. They have a ship after all and can help her escape Earth and the Rullix.

Step-brothers, Thorne and Wade, are discussing Earth and mates when Charm dives into their presence. Each man believes her to be the partner he’s been waiting for. The men allow her passage in their spaceship, but are shot down by the Rullix and crash in a canyon.

Charm finds them sanctuary, yet even in the middle of nowhere, she still gets into trouble. Thorne and Wade have to figure out how to travel to Aurath before Charm’s bad choices lead to their demise.

Excerpt:

Charm recoiled from the canvas and turned her back on it. Capture women? Female slaves? Her stomach rolled. She pressed a hand to her mouth.

I knew he was sketchy but never guessed he’d go so far. I absolutely need a plan B now. There’s no way I’m going to live under the same roof as that man anymore.

The trader’s voice came from the other side of the canvas again. “My azeeztant will help. She haz a wayz of befriending people an’ can lead all da femalz ya want to ya.”

Oh, hell no, Charm thought.

“This assistant of yours. I want her.”

“She’s not fur sale. She’s not goin’ anywhere wit ya. She stayin’ ‘ere wit me.”

“Then just for a couple of nights to satisfy my needs,” the Rullix’s deep voice rumbled.

“I’m sure I can arrange that.”

A bitter tang filled Charm’s mouth. She fought back the nausea threatening to make her throw up. She couldn’t believe her ears. The trader had the gall to barter her? The man was slime. Lower than slime. An urge to flee right there and then consumed her.

No. I have to make the right choice this time. I can’t run away again. I need my money and a few items from my room. She wrung her hands together. What to do? What to do?

All kinds of thoughts ran through her mind. Steal the coins from Mr. Tinns and find a way out of the city. She’d still have to see him and the Rullix, though, if she entered the tent, and even if she were to wait for the alien to leave and wait for Mr. Tinns to go to bed, the trader slept on top of his money.

The Rullix. There’s something about those aliens I’ve heard. What was it?

Charm tapped her forehead as if that would pop the knowledge to the surface. She ran through conversations she’d had and finally landed on what she’d learned.
